    If you cherish your morning coffee as I do there is nothing better than Dawn Patrol! I look forward to the weekends when I can relax while sipping this great blend.

    about 7 years ago, my wife & I went to the Outer Banks for the first time. Not liking fast food & convenience store coffee, we asked where we could "get a cup of decent coffee". That recommendation led us to Front Porch Cafe. I got a cup of the Dawn Patrol (I thought it was a good name for a morning cup), and have been hooked ever since. We returned to our normal lives, but Dawn Patrol has been a constant. Once a month, I have 2 Lbs sent to wherever I am, wether it was Virginia Beach, central Florida or even deployed to the Middle East (thanks for the extra!).
    The only other coffee I would compare this brew to is Blue Mountain. Don't ever stop making it!!!

    wafted our way. My bride and I were enjoying a dinner of fine seafood and beers at the OBX Brewing Station, when the aroma hit us. I asked the waitress what that wonderful smell of coffee brewing was from. After a few minutes she came back to tell us that their house coffee was from the Front Porch Cafe, and that the blend was called Dawn Patrol. My wife and I both had a cup, then another, and felt we had found that which makes a morning...compleat. The next day, we went to the cafe itself, saw the roast master at work, bought two pounds, and so, the fascination with the Front Porch Cafe' began...
