On the Eastern edge of North Carolina lays the Outer Banks, home of Kill Devil Coffee Roasters. Here Artisan roasters handcraft each individual batch in our 15 kg roaster allowing us to carefully monitor the roasting process, and to adjust every roast to insure that each unique coffee attains its optimal flavor. You will note in each coffees description that we use the roast terms of City (light roast), Full City (medium roast), Vienna (dark, slight oil), and French (dark, oily). These are the roasts that we feel best exemplifies each coffee.

We source our coffees from small independent farmers throughout the world, focusing on sustainability and the use of organic farming techniques wherever possible.Should you be looking for a coffee not listed on our website, or a certain kind of roast profile, please drop us a note and we would be glad to discuss it with you.

We recommend that you store your coffee sealed in this bag, away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not freeze or refrigerate whole bean coffee. It is preferable to buy only the amount of coffee that you will consume in a month. Use purified or bottled water for the best coffee.
